“During the first part of the year our balance sheet was growing at a slower rate than budgeted. In June, Dr. Tom joined with our Board and Management Team for a daylong “Think Tank” session on retail banking strategies. By the end of the day, we developed seven new ideas for the Management Team to investigate for implementation. We were able to implement two of these ideas into product offerings very quickly and have seen very positive results in terms of new money to the Bank.
